Privacy Policy

Overview
DevToolStudio (“we”, “our”, or “the site”) is a free, browser-based developer toolbox. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens entirely inside your browser.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Name, email address, or any contact information
- IP addresses or device identifiers
- Usage analytics, page-view tracking, or behavioural data
- The content you paste into any tool (JSON, code, passwords, etc.)
- Cookies of any kind
Local Storage
The site saves two kinds of data in your browser’s localStorage only:
- Theme preference (
dts:theme) — light or dark mode selection. - Tool state — per-tool editor content so your work is restored on reload (e.g. your last JSON snippet).
This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time via your browser’s “Clear site data” option or Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage.
Fonts & Static Assets
Fonts (Inter, Geist Mono) are self-hosted — they are bundled into the site at build time. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN when you use the site.
API Tester Tool
The API Request Playground sends HTTP requests directly from your browser to the URL you specify. We never see, log, or proxy these requests. Any credentials or data included in those requests go only from your browser to the server you chose.
Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare Pages to host and deliver the site. Cloudflare may process connection-level metadata (IP, request path) for security and abuse prevention under their own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store any of this data.
Children’s Privacy
The site is a general-purpose developer tool and is not directed at children under 13 (US COPPA) or under 16 (EU GDPR). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Your Rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. To remove all locally-stored site data, clear your browser’s site data for this domain.
If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Because we process no personal data, no substantive rights apply in practice — but you may still contact us with any concerns.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with strict security headers including a Content Security Policy, HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), and a restrictive Permissions Policy. All tool logic runs inside your browser sandbox.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if we introduce new features that change our data practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
